LOVE. SWEETNESS. LIGHT.
These are the qualities that Vincent embodied in his too-short life.
Vincent loved everybody. He had a sixth sense for finding those in need and was always ready with a hug, or a smile, or a kind word.
This is what we endeavor to bring to the children of Chicago when we celebrate Vincent.
It is in this spirit that we have chosen to carry on Vincent's legacy by supporting our most precious resource, our wonderful children.
WHAT WE DO.
Through charitable donations, we carry on Vincent's legacy of kindness by helping Chicago parents in need provide their children with a special holiday gift and a nourishing meal.
HOW TO HELP.
Give the gift of holiday cheer and warmth in the memory of Vincent Babiarz this holiday season. Bring an unwrapped toy (or toys) to the Vincent Babiarz Memorial Toy Drive at Murphy's Bleachers on December 6, 2024, and join the fun!

How to Support Nourishing Hope

Jim, Danielle and Luca Babiarz have chosen Nourishing Hope (formerly Lakeview Pantry) as the recipient of funds raised from The Vincent Babiarz Toy Drive. We hope you might consider helping a family in Nourishing Hope's case management program with a donation. Through your generosity, you'll carry on Vincent's legacy by providing free food and social services to our Chicago neighbors this holiday season.
Special Musical Guest, Red Pop Fury!

We love RED POP FURY! Nothing says Christmas like a bunch of hot, sweaty revelers dancing to Tony and the band's rendition of "Feed the World." Red Pop Fury is more than a band -- they're part of the tradition!
History of Celebrating Vincent

Friends of Lakeview Pantry was a volunteer group of local citizens, founded in 1998 by Su Bermingham, David Oliveira, and Emily and Christopher Haite, residents committed to bringing a measure of joy and hope to children in the Lakeview neighborhood. What started as a small dinner party has grown into a grassroots initiative to bring the joy of the holidays to families in need. In their 20-year existence, they shared 10,000 toys, spreading joy and smiles to thousands of families in need of hope and encouragement.
In 2010, Friends of Lakeview Pantry partnered with the Babiarz Family to celebrate Vincent's sweet, generous spirit, and thus was born the Vincent Babiarz Memorial Toy Drive. Over the years, our supporters have provided tens of thousands of gifts to Chicago families. With your help, we hope to continue to empower parents in our communities to provide their children with the holidays they deserve.
