These are the qualities that Vincent embodied in his too-short life.
Vincent loved everybody. He had a sixth sense for finding those in need and
was always ready with a hug, or a smile, or a kind word.
It is in this spirit that we have chosen to carry on Vincent's legacy by supporting our most 
most precious resource, our wonderful children.

FOOD. FUN.

This is what we endeavor to bring to the children of Chicago when 
​we celebrate Vincent.
FOOD: Cash donations can be made to Lakeview Pantry, a grassroots organization 
serving the Lakeview neighborhood since 1970. LVP provides emergency food
and social services to those in need.
FUN!: Toys donated are distributed by the Lakeview Pantry. Toys are arranged in the "Toy Room"
and parents can choose two gifts for each child, empowering them to provide for their 
children the kind of holiday every child deserves.

Jim, Danielle and Luca Babiarz, together with Friends of Lakeview Pantry, have chosen Lakeview Pantry as the recipient of funds raised from The Vincent Babiarz Toy Drive.  We hope you might consider helping a young family in Lakveview Pantry's case management program with a monetary donation. Our hope is to raise $10,000 through our live auction and donation site - you can help us reach our goal by simply selecting an item to donate.  Through your donation, you not only support the wishes of the Babiarz family, but can truly make a difference this holiday season to a family in need.

We love RED POP FURY! Nothing says Christmas like a bunch of hot, sweaty revelers dancing to Tony and the band's rendition of "Feed the World." Our 2020 event looked a little different due to COVID-19, but 2021 marks a return to form, and we're glad to have Red Pop Fury along with us!

Friends of Lakeview Pantry and Celebrating Vincent

Friends of Lakeview Pantry is a volunteer group of local citizens, founded in 1998 by Su Bermingham and David Oliveira, who are committed residents to bringing a measure of joy and hope to children in the Lakeview neighborhood.  What started as a small dinner party 20 years ago, has grown into a grass roots initiative to bring the joy of the holidays to families in need.  Together with Emily and Christopher Haite, we recognize that we are truly blessed individuals that have a responsibility for those not as fortunate.  We are the only group donating toys to Lakeview Pantry during the holidays and we know the power of giving a Christmas gift to a family in need can greatly impact their lives. Over the past 20 years, we've shared almost 10,000 toys spreading joy and smiles to thousands of families in need of hope and encouragement.

Last year, we collected more than 600 gifts, and $8,000 for the families Lakeview Pantry serves.  With your help, this year we hope to increase the number of gifts collected to 1,000 and to raise more than $10,000 for Lakeview Pantry. We are humbled and honored to continue our community efforts of the Lakeview Pantry Toy Drive in honor and memory of Vincent Babiarz.  We recognize and support the Babiarz Family and continue to celebrate the sweet spirit and generosity of Vincent Babiarz through the donations of our supporters.
